Spring Break!

This is the week I need to really watch what what I eat and make sure I get plenty of rest so I am sure there will be a lot of fun things I will want to do and many temptations all around. For example I have been invited to a girls night out that will have facials and pedicures and an abundant selection of goodies which are all probably not Pre-race day recommended. So am I going? Well yeah!! I am not taking this race or myself to serious or I don't think I would enjoy running as much as I do ,but I can say if it was the day before a marathon I would have to pass. Thanks to all the good nutrition and my Advocare products I put into my body on a daily basis I know I will run strong. 

One thing I noticed today is something I noticed last year also is running 3 miles is much harder than running 6 miles I don't actually get mentally set in my run until about mile 3 and I have to struggle to find  a foot hold in my mind that I will even get that far to begin with. After I hit that 3 mile mark it's like magic and I can run to 6 easy or beyond but I do hit another wall after 6 miles at some point again I struggle but if i stay strong which I always have I will conquer. 

Another thing I noticed today on my run I have found myself smiling more frequently lately. Maybe it is the Spring sun returning maybe it is the running and stress relief it brings me, could be the new found confidence I have found with my Advocare Journey or the feeding of my soul through reading the Bible and meeting with some pretty Awesome ladies on Wednesday nights. It is probably the combination of all but I am enjoying it and hoping my family is too. You know they say a happy mama is a happy home!! Spring Break is just the icing on cake that I shouldn't eat this week.
